Farm Livin' Is The Life For Me

My focus these days is on the Applegate Valley AVA.  If you haven't come for a visit, you should.

Let's not forget that wine is made in the vineyard. In a word, wine is a farm product.  It does not magically appear at some fancy chateau for you to enjoy.

On my wine tours I focus on the connection between what you see, the vineyards, and the wine you are tasting.  Wine is of a place.

When you buy a bottle and take it home to the far flung corners of the Earth, the wine keeps its local characteristics.  When you open that bottle, you are back in the Applegate Valley!
